We're Excited to announce that Lihiya will have a fashion show at the American Club in Taipei. This fashion show is part of an effort to help empower women in Africa through the Hand up Congo foundation. We're so happy that all the profits from the tickets and 15% of Lihiya profits will give a helping hand to our mothers and sisters in Congo. You'll also have a wonderful opportunity to purchase fabrics, garments, jewelery, candles made in the Kingdom of Swaziland and the Republic of Congo.
Preparing for this event has been absolutly inspiring and a joyful experience. I find that the timing of this event is so perfect especially because the week after is AFRICA WEEK AND AFRICA NIGHT here in Taipei. Planing for these events and being a part of them helps me feel closer to my home and most of all encourages me to fall deeper in Love with Taiwan as a country that brings together people from all sorts of backgrounds and yet embrace the beauty of Africa and her people.
